Yesterday in Boston it was 85 degrees, this morning it was 55! Fall is in the air, and that means… sweater weather! There’s nothing like a soft cozy sweater on a crisp day to warm you right up. Why not switch up your home decor with some “sweaters” to cozy up your interiors as well?
One of my favorite “sweaters” is a fisherman knit afghan that my mom knitted for my bridal shower many years ago. Every year it comes out with its long tassels, and finds a home draped over my sofa. I like a cool house (even in the winter) so we use our throws a lot.
I like pillows to feel soft. I love the old sweater look of this one. It seems cable knit is in this year and it’s popping up on everything. From pillows…
….to rugs!
We’re seeing a lot of fringe this year in the clothing industry and that just filters right down to the home.
I love small ottomans. They can be used as a footstool, an extra seat, or put a tray on it for an end table. This one from Surya (who we love!) adds a little cozy to your room
These chairs have been in several of our blogs because I love them! Thank you Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams- I hope this trend continues!
Nothing seems warmer in the fall and winter than a cozy log cabin, and this bedding embodies just that. The rustic design and that fuzzy pillow bring that cozy cabin design right to any home.
For a cleaner, simpler look, this bedding set from West Elm has the same cable knit feel, yet with a lighter weight design.
And of course, one of our favorites for rugs and cushions, Langdon Ltd. has the perfect shag textiles to add some warmth and fuzz to your room, and with lots of style!
We can’t wait for sweater weather to be in full swing, and with these picks for your home, it’s sure to be the coziest and most stylish season yet!
