I find color inspiration in the most unusual places. I just returned from dinner with friends where I ordered a Pomegranate Lemon Drop Martini from Legal Sea Foods in the Boston area. It was such a beautiful color (and it tasted just as good!). It seemed like such a different twist on a fall color- I’m seeing so much orange and crimson hues I thought pomegranate, with just that hint of pink, to be a warm and refreshing change. So, inspired by my martini, here’s a look at pomegranate in Interior Design!
Always a fan of Benjamin Moore, their take on pomegranate is just beautiful on this front door – not too red, not too “brick”, just warm and inviting. And the western themed bedroom seems so much more relaxing than the usual terracotta or more traditional southwest colors.
I always love Alexa Hampton’s take on furniture and fabric. She imparts a modern fair on a traditional piece so seamlessly. The Allen chair with that beautiful scalloped base and hammered nails is so vibrant in pomegranate!
Everyone needs some fun accessories, right? And this red lily bud vase from Global Views is just dainty and sweet!
Bunny Williams Home (always a fan of ALL of Bunny Williams’ collection) has this dramatic Pagoda Coffee Table- Such a statement piece in any room and the color is just FUN!
A little more detail and a lot of texture: that’s what I see in this Las Palmas Grille Coffee Table by M-Geough. Those legs are sooo cool! Love the slight turn on the bottom!
Perhaps a little painted wood is more your style? The Pomegranate on this Lucy Console Table from Pottery Barn has such a tone with its soft sanded wood.
A little more of a minimalist? Less is definitely more with this Precisionist Table by Amy Somerville.
Rugs can be found in every color of the rainbow, but these from Pottery Barn just pop with color.
I love fun lights and these are so fun and so pomegranate!! Add my favorite Chilewich mats and some bold dinnerware, and your pomegranate choices are complete. Happy shopping!
