It’s true, first impressions really do matter.  So get instant curb appeal with a little paint, and make your front door be a welcoming entry into your home.  We spend so much time and effort on our “interiors” that sometimes we forget where it all starts – the minute you knock on the door!

Anyone that knows me, knows that I love turquoise and I love seahorses.  So, I’m all over this front door!  It’s whimsical and fun without being “cutesy”!

And what’s the #1 door color in America?  Yes, it’s red!  But yellow and orange and green, and, well, just about anything else works if it’s done well and appropriate for the house and location!

Sometimes adding a mat and flowers in coordinating colors will help to perk up your entry and make an otherwise drab door look amazing.

I would love to see what’s on the other side of this door, wouldn’t you??

This reminds me of a barn door, and the diagonals really complement the square window panels and shingles.

Maybe a little South Beach going on here.  I love the orange, and those doors look like a face welcoming you in – look at it!  Don’t you agree?
