As we enter the holiday season, it’s time to start pulling those festive decorations out of storage, and maybe think about adding a few fresh ones into the mix. Holiday wreaths are a classic way to bring the holidays into your home, and there are so many fun options out there to experiment with. There are plenty of gorgeous botanical style wreaths that we see every day- both fresh and dried.
But, if you look a little more outside the box, you’ll find wreaths created from many unique and interesting materials like metal, felt, wool, and tinsel- just to name a few. Because these wreaths require no maintenance and are not made of fresh botanicals, they can also make for wonderful gifts (think: easy to pack or ship).
We’ve rounded up a few of our current favorites, and hope they inspire a little creativity in your holiday decorating this year!
A colorful, metal wreath looks anything but cold on this front door!
Light up little extra holiday “joy”…
If you prefer a more simplistic style, an all-white metal design screams “Winter Wonderland”.
Live by the beach, or just love a little boho in your life? Try a simple, woven wreath, or a bright and beachy accent with starfish or wood.
A felt wreath can be classic and beautiful- and oh so practical!
And who says holiday decorations have to be in traditional colors?
We are loving the pom pom wreath trend- but if you’re not ready to fully commit, try adding a few pom poms to jazz up a more traditional wreath.
Alternatively, you could try a neutral monotone or subdued, earthy hues.
What holiday wreath trends are you loving? Have you found one you like best, or will you be trying a DIY project? We’d love to hear your ideas in the comments!
